A low-cost case for the iPhone 5 | iGeneration
While we often hear criticism of the high price of iPhone accessories, and in particular that of cases, this is not always the case. Toyo Labo markets a case for iPhone 4S or 5 at the very affordable price of ¥525/approx. €4.10!
To arrive at this price, there are no secrets. The material used is very cheap: corrugated cardboard, absorbing any shocks. In addition, Toyo Labo does not sell a case ready to be installed immediately on an iPhone, but a kit to assemble yourself.
The iPhone Paper Jacket comes as a pre-cut sheet of cardboard, which only needs to be assembled in minutes. Two designs are available: a “camouflage” version and a “Newspaper” version. Each of them also comes with a draft version, where the cardboard is not decorated, which you can comment on, decorate or paint as you wish.
