How do you know if you are affected?

Where the data breach may result in a high risk to rights and freedoms, responsible bodies have an obligation to directly inform data subjects that their data has been compromised and published online. It is therefore necessary to check your e-mails or your mailbox because the AP-HP has undertaken since September 17, 2021 an individual contact campaign with the persons tested concerned.

Please note: some websites indicate that they hold the data and can tell you whether or not you are concerned. The CNIL advises against using them.

What data can be compromised?

The data leak includes in particular the following information, provided during the test:

What to do ?

  1. Be careful of phishing attempts. Phishing consists of sending you a fraudulent email or SMS which will seem more realistic to you because of the use of the data recovered thanks to the data leak (a so-called email from your doctor or from Social Security by example).
  2. Check the accounts associated with your Social Security number. Monitor the activity of your associated online accounts, change the passwords for these accesses.
  3. Speak up if you think you've been a victim of identity theft. If you believe you have been the victim of identity theft as a result of the disclosure of information about yourself, you can:
