Apple Fitness+ is available in France: how does it work and how much does it cost?

At the end of last year, Apple unveiled Fitness+, a sports course service available from an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV.This launch fell timely since in full world pandemic.Unfortunately, Apple was unable to provide service only to certain English -speaking countries.

Good news, Apple Fitness+ has been available in France since November 03 as well as in fourteen other countries: in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Austria, Colombia, Spain, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Russia but also in Portugal, Brazil, Mexico and EmiratesUnited Arab.

All courses are always offered in English but are subtitled in the language of each country.

Apple Fitness+, how does it work?

Fitness+ is available in the form form of the iPhone or iPad.We can also broadcast lessons on the Apple TV.Since its launch last year, Fitness+ has incorporated many more exercises.The courses left in eleven categories: fractional (HIIT), strengthening (bodybuilding with body weight), pilates, walking on tap, carpet race, rower, bicycle, sheathing, dance, full recovery (meditation) and yoga.Each week the catalog is growing 25 new sessions.

The advantage of fitness+ is that the majority of exercises require any specific equipment.For some of them, you will have to equip yourself with a yoga carpet or a few dumbbells.The bike, the rower and the racing carpet involve more substantial purchases.

Also note that Apple has developed content adapted to a very specific audience.Training programs for beginners, elderly or even pregnant women are thus found.Well seen.

As usual, Apple plays the card of simplicity.The interface is clear, ergonomic, so we don't get lost looking for hours the exercises that we want.For performance monitoring an Apple Watch (Series 3 or subsequent) is essential.The other connected watches are not supported.

How much is Apple Fitness+?

Apple Fitness+ is not a free service.You can choose to opt for a monthly payment of € 9.99 or € 79.99 for the year.

Apple Fitness+ is also included in a new Apple One Premium formula grouping access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, 2 TB of storage on iCloud and therefore Apple Fitness+.It is billed € 28.95/month and can share with 6 people from the same family.
