CarPlay under iOS 15: a bug prevents listening to Apple Music or Spotify

And here's a new issue to add to the now long list of bugs that iOS 15 and iPhone 13 users are facing. This time it's about CarPlay crashing every time a user tries to play music, for example via Apple Music or Spotify.
Another bug at Apple
Dozens of posts on Apple Support and Twitter have been posted by users complaining that CarPlay is not working properly on their new iPhone. This is mostly iPhone 13 running iOS 15. Reportedly, trying to play music from any CarPlay app crashes the system. And Apple Support replied to try disabling the equalizer. Apparently in vain. Some have claimed that resetting all network settings on iPhone can be a solution as well.
Apple support reportedly acknowledged the issue and informed users that it is a widespread issue and may be fixed in a future update. The CarPlay issue adds to a growing list of bugs in the initial iOS 15 release, including serious bugs that could cause users' photos to be deleted from their library, touchscreen and storage issues, the using Apple Music and widget issues.
