Your airpods are probably disgusting.Ceremen, sweat, dirt and grime accumulate on the headphones and in the loading box.It is useful to clean them regularly, but you should be careful not to damage them.Here are some methods to get there!

Apple's method

Apple recommends that you use a "soft, dry and non -proud cloth".To clean your airpods, and a "dry cotton swab" (or Q-TIP) to clean up dirt in the loudspeakers.The instructions recall that the AirPods and the AirPods Pro are not waterproof (the pro AirPods are simply water resistant to a certain extent).

Cleaning your airpods

You can also use the Blu-Tack method to clean your airpods.To do this, take a piece of blu-tackou a similar reusable adhesive, and heat it in your hands.Press the blu-tack into the meshes of the listener's speaker, then remove it quickly.Repeat this process until you have removed all the dirt from your airpods.However, be sure not to drive the blu-tack too deep in the earpiece.

You can also slightly spray a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol and use it to detach everything that could be stuck in the loudspeakers.Any excess alcohol will evaporate in a few minutes.

Another technique is to wipe your airpods with a dry sponge, then use a medium or hard -haired toothbrush to remove the inlaid dirt.

Cleaning your airpods Pro

Airpods Pro have silicone tips that create a more waterproof seal in your ear.You can remove these tips to facilitate cleaning.Apple recommends you to remove them and pass them underwater until they look new.Let them dry completely before fixing them again.

Never pass the pro AirPods themselves underwater!They are water -resistant to waterproof.After removing silicone tips, it should be easy to wipe the AirPods Pro with a dry or humid cloth.

If there is dirt inside the loudspeaker canal, try some of the techniques we have covered above to remove it.Again, avoid exerting too much pressure while you clean.

Cleaning of the loading box

The loading box of your airpods is perhaps as disgusting as the earrings.The area around the hinge is notoriously difficult to clean, while the case itself fails to prevent dirt and other dirt from entering.

We recommend that you clean the loading case with a medium or hard -haired toothbrush, because it is the only way to reach the area of the hinge in depth.You can moisten the brush to remove the most stubborn dirt.

There are also charging contacts inside the Lightning port that you could damage, so do not use too much pressure.

What you should not use to clean your airpods
