Audio is one of the most active areas in the tech world. Unsurprisingly, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are therefore a very good opportunity to equip themselves at a lower cost for lovers of good sound. Whether it's to enjoy your music at home with a connected speaker or active noise reduction headphones for transport, there's something for everyone.
We will update this article based on the best offers of the moment.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro: comeback
During our test at the start of the year, these Galaxy Buds Pro seduced us with their very good sound quality. Long behind on this point, Samsung offers a rich and detailed sound here, which for once is not overloaded with bass. As a bonus, the headphones are discreet and pleasant to wear.
However, there remained a few weaknesses in the face of fierce competition: very average active noise reduction, as well as autonomy which would have benefited from being better. With a price halved, our reserves are much weaker and we can even tell you to jump on the Galaxy Buds Pro.
They are available for €129 from Rakuten.
Apple AirPods Max: big drop in sight
For its first helmet under its own name, Apple has pulled out all the stops and has chosen to produce an exceptional helmet. And the result is indeed stunning, with sound to make the biggest names in the industry green with envy and stunning active noise reduction.
Still, the AirPods Max are not without flaws: the Lightning connector, optional wired input and a simply ridiculous “cover”. Above all, these headphones are disproportionately expensive, even given Apple's habits in the field.
So certainly, at 479 € at Cdiscount, they are still very expensive, but the addition is a little easier to digest.
Sony WF-1000XM4: the best intras on the market
Do we really need to introduce the WF-1000XM4? the latest version of Sony's intra true wireless is a reference that can currently be found for only 230 euros at Amazon! Among its strengths we note a more compact format that is both more comfortable and discreet than the previous version.
The sound itself is precise and adopts a very warm signature, rich in bass and benefits from excellent dynamics. It's not the most audiophile thing, but we have to admit that it's downright pleasant on a daily basis. We also appreciate the active noise reduction among the most effective on the market. The only real weakness: the multipoint is absent.

Sony WF-1000XM3: it still has beautiful remains
Although it is no longer the flagship of the Sony range, the WF-1000XM3 is still an excellent choice. Its circum-aural design remains extremely comfortable, even if you wear glasses. The controls could have been a little clearer to use, but nothing too bothersome in practice.
The sound signature remains typical of Sony, with a warm and detailed rendering. The application will allow you to modify it a little to adapt it to your tastes. The active noise cancellation remains very correct, even if it has obviously been a little exceeded in recent years. Nothing to complain about the autonomy of about thirty hours.
Only thing it really lacks: the management of multipoint Bluetooth. But for the 199 euros at which it is available at Cdiscount, we do not do much better. We refer you to our WH-1000XM3 review for more details.
Google Nest Audio: the reference audio assistant
Let's be clear, the Nest Audio is our favorite connected speaker. Google has revised its design to offer us an elegant device, but above all a mat.
Its audio quality is also one of its main strengths. The presence of a woofer and a tweeter makes it possible to transcribe all frequencies, while the 360° rendering coupled with machine learning adapts everything to the shape of your room. In practice, all this translates into very good sound in all situations.
Google Assistant logically completes this picture and once again establishes itself as the most complete on the market. At only 69 euros at the Darty, this Nest Audio is therefore a must.
If you need a more compact and less powerful model, the Nest Mini is also on sale for less than 20 euros at Boulanger.
Sony WF-1000XM3: a classic at a bargain price
When they were released in 2019, the WF-1000XM3 represented the best in terms of both sound reproduction and active noise reduction. Since the competition has reacted well, but that does not mean that it is obsolete, especially with a price almost halved.
If there is one point that has aged it is its size, the headphones are indeed massive and will not go unnoticed. However, they are relatively comfortable and fit well in the ears.
The audio rendering is of high quality and has not aged a bit. We therefore find a warm and detailed sound. Impressive when it was released, the active noise reduction is a little less so in 2021, it is however more than respectable at this price level. Among the weaknesses of these earphones we note their size, the absence of multipoint and the non-resistance to water which makes them unsuitable for sport.
If they do not come to compete with the most high-end true wireless, the Sony WF-1000XM3 are unbeatable at the price of 129 euros at which they are found today at Cdiscount.
Jabra Elite 75T: simple and effective intras
Available for almost two years, the Jabra Elite 75T are a safe bet. Among their strong points, we note their small size which makes them very comfortable to wear. As a bonus, their outfit is good and they are therefore not likely to fall out of ears. Good point also for the compact case.
If the sound reproduction is quite good, the bass is too present by default and we strongly recommend that you lighten it up a bit in the Jabra app. Note that active noise reduction is available via an update, and their intra design already offers good passive isolation.
The Bluetooth connection is impeccable, but the latency is high. A point that may cause problems with apps that do not compensate automatically. Available for 89 euros from Darty, the Jabra Elite 75T are a good choice if you don't need active noise reduction. For more info, read our Jabra Elite 75T review.
Huawei Freebuds Pro: a bargain
Released at a price of 200 €, the FreeBuds Pro are the most advanced wireless headphones from the manufacturer. And we must admit that the Chinese have put the small dishes in the big ones, with headphones that are both compact and very pretty.
One of their particularity is the integration of active noise reduction. The latter is correct, even if we have seen more effective in the competition. The sound signature is pleasant for most styles. A slight lack of treble is however felt, in the classic for example. For its part, the autonomy of 4 hours with active noise reduction is in the average of the sector, while the case can be charged in USB-C or in Qi.
If they did not upset the hierarchy when they were released, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro are much more interesting when sold at half price. At 99 euros at Fnac, we have a real bargain here.
