Huawei launches his first nomadic Bluetooth speaker designed with Devialet

Huawei presented its new Bluetooth speaker, designed in partnership with Devialet, the Huawei Sound Joy.

On the occasion of the launch, this Thursday, its new connected watches Watch GT 3 and Watch Fit Mini, but also smartphones Nova 9 and Nova 8i, Huawei also had a little surprise in its bag in the audio field.The manufacturer has indeed extended its partnership with the French manufacturer Devialet.After collaborating together around the Huawei Sound X and Huawei Sound speakers, the two firms presented their first nomadic Bluetooth speaker designed together, the Huawei Sound Joy.

This speaker recalls, in some ways, the appearance of one of the most emblematic Bluetooth speakers on the market, the Ultimate Ears Boom.We will indeed find a cylindrical design with a fabric coating and large "+" and "-" buttons on the volume to adjust the volume.

A sound designed in partnership with Devialet

As for audio features, Huawei has integrated two speakers within its speaker with a 10 W tweeter charged with treble and a 20 W mid-waof which will be able to focus on mediums and bass.On each side of the cylinder, large -beaten passive radiators will also allow the acoustic pressure to be evacuated.

Enough to allow, according to Huawei, to produce a volume of an audience up to 79 dB.Unlike previous Sound X and Sound speakers, it is only a Bluetooth speaker and not Wi-Fi.To connect it to a smartphone, Huawei integrated an NFC chip.The connection is made here in Bluetooth 5.2, but only with the classic Huawei codecs, namely AAC, SBC and LHDC.

On the design side, in addition to the fabric coating, the Huawei Sound Joy enclosure is IP67 certified for its seal, allowing it to dive without risk at a meter deep for 30 minutes.It also weighs 680 grams and is offered in two colors: black or green.

Huawei has also integrated some additional functions, which is not necessarily found on this type of product.This is the case of the luminous halo at the top of the enclosure which will light up different colors depending on the actions, the load or the voice calls.The speaker has three microphones used to automatically orient the sound, but can also be used for voice calls.A dedicated button is also present on the speaker to launch the vocal assistant of his smartphone.A "Shake Stereo Link Up" function will help shake two nearby speakers to connect them together and make stereo.

Finally, concerning the battery, Huawei integrated an accumulator of 8800 mAh ensuring, according to the manufacturer, up to 26 hours of use.As a bonus, Huawei also offers compatibility with 40 W fast load.

The Huawei Sound Joy will be available as a pre -order from October 21 with deliveries scheduled for November 10.It will be marketed at a price of 149 euros.

Freebuds Lipstick, Freebuds 4 at the substantial rate

In addition to its bluetooth speaker Huawei Sound Joy designed with Devialet, Huawei also launched wireless headphones, the Huawei Freebuds Lipstick.

These are in fact simple Huawei Freebuds 4, therefore with stems, an active noise reduction and an open format, in a red color, but with a new case approaching the format of a tube of lipstick ...hence the name.The case also provides up to 22 hours of autonomy in addition to that of headphones.

Huawei Freebuds Lipstick headphones will be available from November 15 at 229 euros.A particularly high price in view of the launch rate of the Freebuds 4, at 135 euros.We can also find them today at 80 euros.
