Indian student dies after Bluetooth headset explodes

A 28-year-old Indian student died on Friday August 6 after the explosion of his Bluetooth headset, which was connected to his smartphone, itself in charge at the time of the explosion.

Rakesh Kumar Nagar has died in Udaipuria, India's Jaipur district. He was revising in order to pass a recruitment exam to enter the civil service, according to the Times of India.

"The reason why the headphones suddenly exploded is not at all clear," said a police source quoted by the Indian newspaper. If the reason for this explosion remains unknown for the moment, the first tracks lead however to an overvoltage of the helmet following a power failure.
