LG is still expanding the screen with its G Pro 2 |igeneration
LG unveils its latest big smartphone while Samsung will announce its Galaxy S5 this February 24.The largest race on screen continues with this LG G Pro 2 which extends its diagonal to 5.9 "instead of 5.5" on the 2013 model (it retains a definition of 1920x1080).
This size that makes the joints work with the hand, places it on the same step as the HTC One Max."Phones" which both exceed the Galaxy Note 3 with its 5.7 "and which we more readily qualify very small tablet.The LG web browser will take advantage of this giant screen by offering a two -window display simultaneously.
This 172 gram model and 8.3 mm thick (112 grams and 7.6 mm for a 5S, for comparison) remains on a four hearts with the last Snapdragon 800 to 2.26 GHz.It has a hearty 3 GB of RAM and is available in 16 and 32 GB versions for storage (with micro SD port in addition), the battery displays 3200mAh (3140 mAh on the 2013 model).
The rear camera is a 13 Mpx with optical stabilizer and 2.1 Mpx on the front, like last year.LG, however, praises a more effective flash to reproduce a little more natural colors, a video recording in ultra HD for their reading on 4K TVs and idling fashion modes (120 fps like the iPhone 5S).Cited also, a 1W speaker delivering 30% additional power.
No fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone, Apple still keeps your hand on this point, while waiting to see what the S5 will offer.LG simply changes its Knockon unlocking system.Called Knock Code, it allows the user to define a series of taps anywhere on the screen.An invisible diagram comprising from 2 to 8 of these TAPs can be defined and executed then, extinguished screen and without having to look at it.
This large smartphone will first be launched in South Korea, in other Asian countries in March (regions where this format seems popular) then in the United States and Europe from April.Information that will probably be specified at the end of the month at the mobile world congress.A living room that will also see the "mini" version of this G Pro 2 arrive.A smaller version that LG showed on its Facebook, next to its elder.
