LG G5: how to perform a hard reset
To reset an LG G5 follow these steps. Start by turning off your smartphone first. Then press the down and "Power" buttons simultaneously until the LG logo appears. Then release your finger from the "Power" button for 1 second and immediately press it again.
The reset screen titled "Factory data reset" will then appear. Use the volume keys to navigate. Then confirm twice on "Yes" using the "Power" button to erase all data from your LG G5. Voila, your LG G5 is now like new!
