LG: the G7 has the notch that plays hide and seek | iGeneration

"LG having encountered small reliability problems with the OLED panels of the Pixel 2, the manufacturer undoubtedly judged that it was better to play the card of caution."I think that LG intends to maintain the G range in LCD, and the V range in OLED, to give customers the choice. It's a bit strange by the way, OLED being superior in almost every way (even @trackos having finally admitted it, since Apple got into it), but if some people prefer LCD out of habit, why not. If only such a choice could be justified by a lower price than the competition...

"at least the Search Engine Assistant is smarter than Samsung's" They just don't have the same utility at all. The commands that the two voice assistants can respond to are almost mutually exclusive. Bixby mainly acts on advanced smartphone actions (adjust settings, take photos, access specific menus, etc.) while Google Assistant answers complex general knowledge questions and allows you to perform basic tasks (write a memo , record a reminder, etc.).

In short, this LG is way too expensive for what it offers. It is sold at the same price as the Galaxy S9 when it was released, while the S9 already offered an ODR of 100€, and its price is falling...But it will be a good deal when it is available at 400€ in 3 months .
