Sony QX1: The successor of the QX10 and QX100 compatible with the E-Mount objectives
A year ago, Sony had caused a stir at IFA by revealing the DSC-QX10 and QX100, cameras that replace the main sensor of any smartphone. The company would be ready to offer QX1, the successor of the first two products.
The Sony QX1 should appeal to photography enthusiasts on smartphone.Like the current QX10 and QX100 that we were able to test, the QX1 is made up of a sensor and a lens that come to take a seat on the camera hull. Then the camera connects to the smartphone in Bluetooth and an application allows it to be controlled for shooting. The QX10 and QX100 were distinguished between them by their sensor, but also by their objective. With the future QX1, it would seem that Sony is focusing on flexibility since the camera will be compatible with the interchangeable objectives with an e-mount mount.
The information comes from Xperiablog and Sony Alpha Rumors sites.According to them, Sony could unveil the QX1 during the IFA.On the flight images, you can clearly see the possibility of changing the objectives. It would be a very good idea since nearly twenty E-Munt goals are available. We could therefore change the objective according to needs and desires, to make beautiful shots, whatever the situation.Let’s hope that Sony has seen the software part since it was the black point of the QX10 and QX100 which were, if not, good products.
On the sensor side, it would seem that the QX1 takes up that of the Alpha 6000, an APS-C sensor of 24.3 megapixels. For the price, we could expect 300 euros naked, or 450 euros with a 16-50 mm lens.An accessory that could be interesting for all those who have E-Mount Objectives at home and a mediocre sensor on the smartphone.See you at IFA this week to, perhaps, discover this novelty and all the details concerning it.
