The smartphone market may have made huge progress in recent years, the batteries have rarely been at the center of manufacturers' concerns. If the latter have so far been content to gain in size and capacity, Xiaomi could however change the situation. On Weibo, the Chinese social network, the brand has announced that it has developed a new high -silicon lithium battery technology. This mixture probably does not mention anything, but it would concretely get an increased capacity, for a similar volume.

With more silicon than a classic lithium-ion battery, and new coating technology that makes it possible to significantly reduce the size of the control circuits, Xiaomi thus explains that it is able to increase the battery performance by 10%, withoutHowever, increase your size.10%, it may seem little, but it is actually a significant difference on a smartphone battery, which could store up to 100 minutes of additional autonomy, promises Xiaomi. For larger capacity batteries, this difference could be even more significant. In the future the devices of the Chinese manufacturer could thus offer higher autonomy for a similar format, or on the contrary decide to reduce their general volume without making compromise on their longevity.

Not on the Xiaomi 12

It is unlikely that future Xiaomi 12 will benefit from this type of technology, their release being scheduled for the end of this year.On the other hand, it is likely that the next flagships of the brand are right and indeed.A novelty that could be particularly practical on a daily basis, when we know that our smartphones sometimes have a hard time keeping the distance all day.

Xiaomi veut révolutionner la charge avec sa nouvelle batterie

If it has established itself on the western market as a formidable flagship killer, Xiaomi seems definitively ready to go upmarket, undoubtedly with the aim of competing with the Apple and Samsung giants.Regarding the battery, the manufacturer had already innovated recently, imagining a wireless system capable of remotely recharging a device compatible with induction.

Houaha, what a revolution 10%.No frankly what should not read !!! And yet I have a smartphone of the brand but you have to stop promising sensational which is not at all. It's been 15 years that we promise miraculous batteries, there is always out of exit, to have a big good autonomy, you always need a big battery in Mah and there are always as many problems after 2-3 years of useon mobile, laptops, electroportive, etc., and the worst is even in use.

Me, as long as these Chinese brands do not have a microSD port, I will stay on a Samsung, even if it means going down, I will not throw my 512 GB in the trash!
