If you need to speak with a person who speaks a foreign language, translate a menu, transcribe a conversation or dictate in another language, Google can help you with two different applications available for iOS and Android devices.
The Google Translate application makes it possible to translate dozens of languages, whether by text or voice;just type, write or talk in the application.It even allows you to point your smartphone to a panel or a menu written in a foreign language to display a live translation.

Google Translate

Translate a text
Let's say you want an Italian translation of an English sentence.Tap the name of the current language at the top left of the screen and select English as a source language.Tap the name of the tongue at the top right of the screen and select the Italian as a target language.Then touch the field that says type to enter the text and start type the word or the sentence in English that you want to translate.
You can also press the stylus and write a sentence in English, character by character, with your finger or your stylus.When you type or write characters on the screen, the application tries to predict what you plan to write in full by displaying combinations of words and possible letters.Continue writing or select one of the suggested words if it corresponds to what you intended to enter.At one point, the application may suggest the entire sentence you want to enter.If so, select the sentence.
In return, Google Translate displays the word or sentence in the target language.You can press an arrow to the right next to the translation, then on a speaker icon next to the sentence in one or the other language to hear it out loudly.
Touch the Copy icon to copy the three -point translation and icon to share it, see it in full screen, start a conversation or reverse the translation.

Another interesting feature is the possibility of translating text into an image via the camera of your phone.Choose the source language and the target language, then press the camera icon.Direct the camera of your device to the sign, menu or written document in the source language.
Google Translate offers live translations, but some languages require a downloadable language pack.Once the application has had time to recognize the text, it is translated into the target language and can be visualized directly on the screen.

Conversations in real time
The application allows you to hold a conversation with broken sticks with a person, even if you do not speak the same language.Choose both languages, then touch the conversation icon.You can continue the conversation manually or automatically.
If you opt for the manual method, you must touch the tongue icon of the current interlocutor.If you opt for the automatic method by pressing the car icon, Google will determine who speaks according to the language.
Google assistant
Most Android devices have google preinstalled assistant, but you can get it from Google Play if you need it.To use it on an iPhone, download and install the application from the following address App Store.

Translate conversations
